TippTeam ("we", "us") is a football prediction game. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. This is a demo application provided for evaluation purposes.

1. Information we collect

Account data — your name, email address and hashed password.
Game data — the groups you create or join, your match tips, and tournament predictions (champion and top scorer).
Technical data — a session cookie required to keep you logged in, and your interface language and theme preference (stored in your browser).

2. How we use your information

To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To run the prediction game — save your tips, calculate points, and build leaderboards within your groups.
To send account-related emails such as email verification and password resets.

3. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie that is strictly necessary to operate the site (to keep you signed in and protect forms against CSRF). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your name and standings are visible to other members of groups you join. Otherwise, data is only processed by the service providers needed to run the app.

5. Your rights

You can view and update your profile information at any time, and permanently delete your account (and all associated data) from your profile page. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, or export your data.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile, tips and predictions.
